MKM aka Molly K Mills is an experienced fashion designer with over 25+ years experience working in the Fashion Industry. Initially setting up her own label Molly K after graduating from Kingston University in the early 1990\u2019s. Molly then went on to design for brands including Full Circle, Toggi and Fatface.<\/p>
Tired of the constant churning out of products season to season. Frustrated by the creation and consumption of products for products sake Molly left the industry to work at Winchester School of Art and educate the next generation.<\/p>
\u201cThis was also an opportunity to step back from the industry, spend more time with family, explore my own creativity and investigate how to produce clothing ethically and sustainability.\u201d (Molly K Mills, 2022)<\/p><\/blockquote>
Alongside working with the next generation to support them to realise their dreams, the plan was always to build MKM. A brand centred around relaxed, sustainable, slow fashion, carefully designed and thoughtfully sourced. The plan got put on hold in 2012, interrupted by the blessed arrival of baby Mills. Molly subsequently found herself juggling being a Mum and her academic career at Winchester School of Art.<\/p>
\u201cI never gave up on the plan of setting up MKM. When I was younger I pushed hard and relentlessly battled until I got there. Older and hopefully wiser I am kinder to myself. I never gave up but recognised my limitations and moved slowly towards launching MKM prioritising health, wellbeing and family.\u201d (Molly K Mills, 2022)<\/p><\/blockquote>
